about Jet Plasma

Jet Plasma is a relatively new technology in the field of aesthetic dermatology and plastic surgery. Based on the use of plasma, the device generates an electric arc that produces a small plasma discharge.

When it touches the surface of the skin, it causes an immediate retraction and tension of the skin tissue, which is useful in many aesthetic procedures.

Blepharoplasty refers to procedures that improve the appearance of the eyelids, whether it's removing excess skin, smoothing wrinkles or treating under-eye bags. Jet Plasma is a non-surgical alternative to traditional blepharoplasty and is often referred to as "plasma blepharoplasty".

frequent questions

What are the contraindications and risks of the procedure?

As with any procedure, there are potential risks and side effects, including infection, scarring, skin discoloration, and irritation. Not all patients are ideal candidates for this procedure, so a careful assessment and open discussion with the patient is essential.

What is the result of the procedure?

Jet plasma offers an effective non-surgical alternative to traditional blepharoplasty, providing visible improvements with minimal recovery time. However, proper patient selection and following a rigorous protocol are essential to achieve the best results.

What is plasma jet technology and how does it work?

Plasma jet technology is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses a special device to generate an electric arc in the form of a plasma jet. This plasma jet creates a controlled area of skin evaporation or sublimation, helping to improve skin texture and reduce imperfections. During the procedure, the top layer of skin is vaporized while stimulating collagen production for a firmer, more youthful appearance.

What skin problems is plasma jet technology suitable for?

Plasma jet technology can be used for a wide range of skin problems such as:

  • Reduction of wrinkles and fine lines, especially in delicate areas of the face.
  • Treating scars and stretch marks by stimulating skin regeneration.
  • Improving the appearance of enlarged pores and unevenly textured skin.
  • Lifting the skin and reducing laxity in certain areas, such as the upper and lower eyelids or the neck area.
  • Removal of sun spots or pigment spots.
