about the CO2 Laser
At the same time, the treatment achieves a thermal stimulation of the collagen in the dermis and thus increases the production of collagen and elastin, essential proteins for supporting the structure and elasticity of the skin, as well as the production of micro-ablation areas that contribute to restoring the skin's texture.
Thus a harmony is achieved that leads to textural improvements that give the skin a smooth, uniform and bright tone.

frequent questions
What are the advantages of CO2 laser treatment?
Who should use CO2 laser treatment?
People who can benefit from CO2 laser treatment include:
- People with signs of aging skin – reduces fine lines and expression lines, age spots, skin discoloration and other signs of aging.
- People with scars after acne, burns, surgery or accidents.
People with dark skin, extremely sensitive skin, or certain medical conditions, including those that can affect wound healing (people who develop keloid scars), may be at greater risk of complications.
People with sagging skin (increased laxity) or enlarged pores
People with certain skin conditions – warts, seborrheic keratoses, certain types of dermal nevi, papillomas, angiomas.
What results do we get?
It usually takes 2-4 weeks after treatment to see visible signs of skin regeneration, with the process continuing to evolve over the next 3 months, ensuring a gradual improvement. Although a single session can provide a visible result, ideally, a series of 2-4 treatments at 6-8 week intervals are recommended to achieve the optimal result.
What restrictions do we have after treatment?
- Avoid direct exposure to the sun or other sources of UV radiation for at least 2 weeks. Due to the inflammation generated, it is necessary to apply daily cream with UVA and UVB protection filter (SPF 50), with reapplying every 2 hours.
- Avoiding saunas and steam rooms for 2 weeks as the heat can further irritate already sensitized skin.
- Avoiding strenuous exercise for the first 7-14 days.
- To eliminate the risk of infections, we avoid applying make-up for the first 24 hours.
- We do not apply irritating substances to the face.
- We will apply re-epithelializing creams to help the skin regenerate.
- In the case of patients who will present post-treatment scales, they will not come off because we can lead to defective scarring.
