about Contouring therapy

Contouring therapy, the star procedure in our clinic, is an injectable skin remodeling treatment with bioremodeling that contains one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market, specially formulated for people whose skin lacks volume and elasticity. Delivering high concentrations of hyaluronic acid into the dermal layer of the skin stimulates collagen and elastin production to significantly improve skin quality, diminish lines and wrinkles and contour the face. Contouring therapy is a non-invasive technique by which, by injecting Hyaluronic acid in the key points of the face, hydration, brightness and a perfect geometry are obtained. Another benefit is that it doesn't change the shape of the face like dermal fillers, but instead creates a fresh natural look and softens fine lines and wrinkles.

frequent questions

When will I see the best results?

You will be able to see results in about a month, but the best results will be visible after the third session, and all sessions MUST be completed to achieve the full effects. It is injected superficially and usually does not cause bruising or require recovery periods. Because it's injected so superficially, it's extremely safe in that regard too – we consider it one of the safest "fillers" on the market.

Contraindications and adverse effects

The treatment has no contraindications, but nu can be performed under antibiotic treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How long does the effect last?

Contouring therapy persists in the skin for approximately 28 days. During this interval, stimulation of 4 different types of collagen and elastin occurs through the slow release of HA (hyaluronic acid). Results generally last about 6 to 9 months, after which maintenance sessions are required.

Stimulation leads to significant tissue improvement. Therefore, we do not simply say that the procedure is a skin stimulator, as it also has a significant tissue stretching/lifting effect without the excessive volumization that is often an unsightly side effect of facial fillers. You probably chose our clinic because we are known for the "natural look", so we will always use products that fall in that direction, in line with our clinic's mission. Contouring therapy is not a dermal filler or a biorevitalizer - it opened a new category of injections - bioremodeling.

In this procedure, L-HA is released gradually, so it does not trigger the first inflammatory cytokines, which makes it very biocompatible, without that massive swelling effect that some patients seem to notice temporarily after using fillers. Of course, it stands to reason that every time a needle penetrates the skin barrier, there is minimal irritation. It also increases the patient's comfort during and after the treatment and provides hydration to the skin, especially in the epidermis – the moisturizing effect. H-HA in contouring therapy provides a stable architecture of HA in the dermis. This gives a volumetric effect – the stretching effect. This leads to an improvement in skin quality and skin hydration in both the dermis and epidermis. There is also an increase in the production of endogenous HA and elastin, giving the skin a more youthful appearance.

What indications should I follow after the injection?

  • Do not apply makeup on the treated area for 24 hours.
  • Do not smoke for 72 hours; nicotine accelerates the resorption of hyaluronic acid.
  • Avoid air travel for the first 2 days after the injection.
  • Do not massage the injected area.
